The guest suite has two queen sized beds; one in the main bedroom with a Leesa mattress; and one pull-out couch bed in the living room. The space has been meticulously planned to include everything you need. It is located in the heart of Seattle, in a very private/secluded location with free parking. The space includes a 55" Smart TV in the living room, High Speed 1GBPS WIFI, kitchenette, desk, outdoor patio, key-code entry for easy access and 24/7 check-in, and many more unique features.
The space
The Mountain Themed Suite is a basement unit. The suite is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and aired out between each group of guests. Located in the heart of Seattle near UW, but quietly tucked away next to Ravenna Park - We are two blocks away from a selection of walking trails which wind through a beautiful natural Pacific Northwest landscape. There is always plenty of street parking available (which is rare in Seattle).
Guest access
Key-code entry for easy access and 24/7 self check-in. You'll have the entire mountain themed suite to yourself including a private patio outside your front door, which opens up to our beautifully landscaped shared backyard.
**Please note that your patio is private to your unit, but the backyard as a whole is a shared space where you may encounter your hosts or other guests. You are welcome to utilize the backyard shared space during your stay, but we ask you to respect privacy of the other patios in the yard, as each one is private to our other rental units.
Additional notes
Enjoy reliable high speed WIFI throughout the whole unit over a 1 GBPS connection.
A Pack and Play Crib is available upon request. Please let us know if you need it before your reservation, and we will have our cleaning staff deliver it to your unit before check-in.
The A/C and main heat source in Mountain Themed Suite is supplied by our home's central heating system. While very effective at heating and cooling, the system only has one thermostat for the entire home, which means the Mountain Themed Suite does not have it's own thermostat to control the temperature. We keep the system set at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius), which provides a comfortable room temperature for most guests. We also provide a space heater in the bedroom closet which guests can use to raise the temperature above 70 degrees if they prefer a warmer temperature. Guests can also close the duct that supplies A/C to the Mountain Themed Suite during the summer months if they prefer a warmer room temperature.
Guest interaction
I like to give guests space to enjoy their stay without interruption, but I am available via text, email, or phone in case they need anything during their stay.

- Walking: Our suite is located in a safe and walkable neighborhood, where you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere and lush greenery. You can walk down the street to Ravenna Park, where you can find trails, picnic areas, and a playground. You can also walk to the nearby University Village, where you can shop, dine, and relax. - Light rail: The closest light rail station to our suite is Roosevelt, which is less than a mile away. However, you can also choose from two other nearby stations: University of Washington and University District. All three stations are part of the Link light rail system, which can take you to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, and other destinations in less than 20 minutes; or Seatac airport in 45 minutes. The University of Washington station is on the southeast side of campus, near Husky Stadium and UW Medical Center - Montlake. The University District station is on the northwest side, near the UW Tower and the Burke Museum. You can walk, bike, or take a bus to any of these stations from our suite.
- Bus: Several bus lines stop two blocks away from our suite, on 60th Street and 25th Avenue. You can use the bus to get to other parts of the city, such as Green Lake, Ballard, Fremont, and Queen Anne. You can also take the bus to the University District, where you can check out the weekly farmers market, or visit the Burke Museum.
- Rideshare: Uber, Lyft, and Lime Bikes are all easy to find in the area. You can use these services to get around quickly and easily, especially if you are traveling in a group or with luggage.
- Car: If you bring a car, you will be happy to know that we have plenty of free street parking available at all times. This is a rare commodity in Seattle, where parking can be expensive and scarce. You can use your car to drive to other parts of the city or the region, such as the Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Museum of Flight, or the Woodland Park Zoo. You can also use your car to take a day trip to the nearby mountains, lakes, or San Jaun Islands, where you can enjoy the stunning scenery and nature that Washington State has to offer.
We hope this helps you plan your trip and make the most of your stay in Seattle!
